on your marks, get set, GO!

tml it all begins officially~ it is the most risky subject of all: General Paper. Its because a fail means a straight retain, and there is no exact topics and content to study, no nothing all we noe is the format of the papers and probably get some skills to answer those.. but then again its the most relaxed because of that. no 200+ pages of notes to crash in our minds 1-2days be4 the paper and no tons of practice needed to understand it. But still, im on a tight rope.

it all goes down to having the optimum mental conditions on the day. Exams are all about that. its a test of ur performance on the day. Humans do not perform equally, thats y theres something called on-form and off-form. Certain rules need to be followed for this. (1) sleep, as insufficient sleep will cause the brain to be slightly tired and blood flowing through would be slower, causing thinking to be less efficient. (2) confidence, as it is a booster, the opposite of pressure/stress. With confidence the brain would not panic and the heart would not pump exceptionally fast which disrupts the optimal flow of blood to and from the brain. (3) balance. All work and no play causes the person to be not at his/her best as there are some wants/needs not fulfilled or simply one is too overworked. theres no point of cramming everything in in the last min as it only causes the brain to go into overdrive, relax and medidate. Ofcourse, unless ur like me sometimes and 30mins be4 the paper have not read like 3 chapters. Then cramming those in might be a wiser choice. (4) friends, friends are priceless. They can provide you with all of the 3 points stated above. Their encouragement and competition drives one better than fuel. Their care and concern motivates one to put in the extra effort. your love for them makes you not wanna let them down, let alone pang seh them by retaining.

So, good luck all Victorians for tml! and the rest whose exams might be ongoing or other JCs where their promos are 2weeks later! all the best~ remember, everytime you fall, get up and try again. And when all is lost, theres always a hidden way out somewhere. Exams are important, friends and family is more important. =)
